Editing the Home Page Carousel
There are a number of tools provided for this carousel that are specifically tuned to the needs of Super Summer Oklahoma. Because Super Summer's featured guests change from year to year, I've provided a highly editable carousel that enables you to change the information from event to event and from year to year.
First, there's the Background image that is full-screen, customizable, and designed to be responsive across all devices. In front of the background image is the featured content for that slide. These can have any type of content displayed from them, but I've labeled their sample text (the text that shows up when the section has no element) with what I suggest for that section and have styled the content work around.
The Background image is limited by lightCMS to be 1960px wide. The original slide heights were set to 600px, but may be changed, though should be kept consistent across all three slides. To add an image, hover over the text, "Image" then select "add/edit" from the menu that pops up. Drop in your image and either resize it to 1960x600px (hover over the loaded image and select "edit".)
Notice: Be sure to only have one image in each background element. Multiple images will force another carousel within the slide. This second carousel is undesirable.
If you add an image element from the "+ ADD" button at the bottom of the element, be sure to go to the settings for the element and check "disable" for the adaptive image resizing feature.
In the same way that you add images for the background, the images in the featured content can be added. Add an image element to the section using the "+ ADD" button at the bottom of the element. Load the image at your size or crop it to that size. Be sure that under the settings tab "disable" is checked for the adaptive image resizing feature if you do not wish to have the image across devices.
